Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was very disappointed by my experience. The person at the cashier showed very little respect for both the employees and the customers. Both the lady and guy. Throughout my visit, they repeatedly rolled their eyes while customers were shopping, which came across as unprofessional and unwelcoming. A store exists for people to shop, so that kind of attitude is difficult to understand. I genuinely want to support small businesses, which is why this experience was especially upsetting. Good customer service and a welcoming environment make a big difference, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve.

I highly advise against shopping here. 99% of the time, customer service is nonexistent or the cashier is blatantly rude. Iβm never greeted when I walk into the store, even if I say hello first. There have also been several instances where an older woman cashier just stares at me while her coworker assists me as if she suspects that I will steal. Avoid this place.

A $15 bouquet being marked up to $35 feels excessive, especially when many of the flowers already looked wilted or past their prime. For those prices, I would expect much fresher arrangements and a better overall customer experience. I also shouldnβt have to practically pull teeth to get wrapping paper from a rude cashier. Honestly, youβre better off going to Trader Joe's for fresher flowers and friendlier service

Iβve been a customer here since the business opened, but the cashierβs attitude has become increasingly rude over time. Iβm not sure if itβs because business is doing well or something else, but the way she speaks to customers is unacceptable. Today I called to place a food order. As usual, she sounded irritated and rushed, and told me the Asian food cook would be in at 11:30. I headed over and, halfway there, called again to let them know I was picking up so I wouldnβt have to wait. This time she said the cook was on break, even though it was just after 11:30. I reminded her that she was the one who told me to come at that time, and that I was already almost at the store. Her response was, βMiss, He went on break, what do you want me to do?β I understand staff may need a quick break, but when a customer leaves home in cold weather to arrive at the time they were told, the least they deserve is a respectful tone, not the dismissive βit is what it isβ attitude she gave me. I donβt understand why she speaks so disrespectfully to customers who are being nothing but polite. This has become a pattern, and it needs to be addressed.

My boyfriend went through the lovely gesture to spend $30 on these roses for me. They looked fine in the package, but as soon as they were unwrapped, they fell and were clearly dead. This has happened before but we gave this spot another chance as its close to the train to come to me. We went back not even 24 hours to try to get a refund as they literally have to be thrown out. My boyfriend was very respectful and the owner stated he is βnot sure how we handled themβ on the 10 min walk to my apartment. He states there is no refunds and is okay with selling dead flowers to people and makes this policy to get away with it. He should not be able to sell $30 flowers which donβt even last 5 minutes once unwrapped. Horrible customer service, will never shop here again.
